Forest to Sea Art Journaling Video

Grab up a cuppa tea (my favourite right now is Paris by The Tea Company in downtown Courtenay) and enjoy this process video. Most of it is in real-time so you can see how I explore mark making and developing the page intuitively.

Like this style of journaling? Check out my course Awaken to Place which features a mark-making warm-up, three journaling lessons and a bonus lesson on making your own concertina journal. Click my affiliate link to learn more: HERE

Nicole Warrington

I am an artist and educator on Vancouver Island, Canada. My art is deeply inspired by my connection to the landscape and the natural world. I am passionate about using creativity as a practice in mindfulness and self-care. Creativity has been an important part of my healing process during different phases of my life, including my ongoing recovery from a brain injury in 2022.

Trained in Fine Arts, Art History, and Elementary Education, I love teaching watercolour and journaling to local and international communities. I currently host an online art membership called The Calm Waters Collective, where we paint, journal and connect with each other through lessons and live calls. I also enjoy trail running, backpacking, skiing, and yoga, and exploring the island with my husband and two daughters.
